How to apply

PGCE: Apply through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) which is the centralised application portal for all PGCE courses. You will submit an online application which goes to your choice of up to four providers, with a personal statement and details of your academic background and work experience.

GTP: Applications are made through the Teaching Agency. The process varies dependent on your chosen training provider, some will expect you to find a school to employ you and some will help you arrange this.

SCITT: Apply through the Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) which is the centralised application portal for all SCITT courses. You will submit an online application which goes to your choice of up to four providers, with a personal statement and details of your academic background and work experience.

School Direct: Register with the Teaching Agency. You will be informed of the schools offering places and you need to apply directly to schools you are interested in.

Teach First: Apply direct to Teach First. Recruitment stops when they reach their targets, so early application is advised.
