Physics in society

The Institute’s physics in society programme aims to engage and inspire people of all ages about physics.

The programme’s activities are designed to capture the imagination, highlight the relevance of physics to everyday lives and make physics accessible to all.

To reach as wide an audience as possible we are committed to supporting physicists who want to take physics to their local communities. Whatever the activity – hands-on workshops, interactive talks, debates, discussions, websites or performances – we can provide information, resources and advice to help anyone who wishes to share their passion for physics with public audiences.
